Description

Skewers of marinated beet
Beets, baked on skewers, aromatic marinade. A dish for lovers of unusual flavors.

Ingredients

  • Beets

    1 piece

  • Soy sauce

    1 tsp

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Olive oil

    15 ml

  • Vinegar

    1 tsp

  • Water

    50 ml

  • Dill

    1 coup

  • Nutmeg

  • Allspice

Cooking

Raw beets peel and cut into cubes.

Onion peel and finely chop. Fry the onions in olive oil for 3 minutes.

Beets pour soy sauce Kikkoman, add the chopped garlic, nutmeg, allspice to taste.

Add fried onions. Add vinegar and water. Stir.

Sprinkle with chopped dill. Mix well. Put to marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Skewers to soak for 5 minutes in hot water. Take the beet cubes on the skewers.

Spread on the foil and sprinkle each skewer leftover marinade.

Wrap it in foil. Spread on a baking sheet and put in a preheated 200 degree oven. Bake 30-45 minutes until tender beets. This beet is delicious both hot and cold. Cold it's reminiscent of the candied fruit. Bon appetit!
