Millet braid with curry

Ingredients

  • Flour

    525 g

  • Wheat flakes

    150 g

  • Yeast

    25 g

  • Water

    120 ml

  • Sugar

    3 tsp

  • Salt

    2 tsp

  • Yogurt

    400 ml

  • Curry

    1.5 Tbsp

  • Butter

    25 g

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

In warm water dissolve the yeast.

Millet flakes shred with a blender at the nibs.

In a large bowl mix the sifted flour, finely ground millet flakes, salt, sugar and curry. Stir.

Dabavljaet yogurt, yeast and melted butter. Knead the dough.

Spread the dough on the Board, podpylenny flour and thoroughly kneaded. Do not hammer the flour, the dough should be soft and elastic. Much that the dough doesn't stick, grease the hands with oil and knead well.

Well mixed dough is put into the heat, covered with a towel for 1 hour to rise.

The dough fit perfectly. Make molding. First the dough a couple of times obtinem and divide into 2 parts.

Each piece of dough to divide into 3 equal pieces.

Each piece of dough roll out into a long sausage, about 20-25cm.

And pony tail. It turns out a couple of braids.

Braids laid on with an oiled parchment or silicone mats cookie sheet, cover with oiled cling film and put into heat for 40 minutes for proofing.

Whisk egg with 1 tablespoon water and oil coming up the braids. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and put in a preheated 190C oven for 40 minutes.
