Cupcake with red frosting and oranges
Red fragrant oranges give a special flair to ordinary baked goods not only taste ( very CITRUS - I can't find the right words to convey his admiration!), but in the shape and color of the cake.

Ingredients

  • Flour

    170 g

  • Chicken egg

    4 piece

  • Sugar

    200 g

  • Vegetable oil

    100 ml

  • Corn starch

    60 g

  • Leavening agent

    1.5 tsp

  • Powdered sugar

    100 g

  • Milk

    50 ml

  • Orange

    5 piece

  • Orange juice

    50 ml

  • Orange zest

    1 piece

Cooking

Flour, baking powder, starch to combine and sift.

Prepare a rectangular baking dish ( I have a size 23 by 13 cm): grease and flour them.

Oranges to wash. Here they are red and beautiful..

To remove the zest from 1 orange and pulp of 2 (naturally cleaned) cut into cubes

Squeeze juice from oranges ( because I got a small. I squeezed out 2)

Eggs with sugar vzbit white (5-6 minutes) on high speed of mixer.

Then, in a low speed, add milk and zest

Then portions put flour mixture and stir ( you can manually). At the end add the butter and orange slices, stir. Pour into a baking dish. Stick on top of the orange segments ( but not necessarily). Bake about 1 hour in a preheated 180 gr. the oven, be sure to check the on the readiness of the splinter. The finished cake remove from oven, stand 5 minutes in pan and then turn on the grill until cool.

In this form you can simply sprinkle with powdered sugar, but I think that the red orange glaze complete the picture of this cupcake.

For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar and orange juice. It is such a beautiful pink color...
