Pancakes with couscous, dried fruits and nuts
Hearty pancakes with your favorite dried fruits and nuts diversifies the menu on pancake day! If you have already prepared pancakes, it only takes 10 minutes to cook this dish.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt

    300 ml

  • Yeast

    1 tsp

  • Salt

    0.5 tsp

  • Sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • Flour

    150 g

  • Vegetable oil

    2 Tbsp

  • Water

    200 ml

  • Couscous

    60 g

  • Cranberry

    1 handful

  • Peanuts

    1 handful

  • Butter

    1 Tbsp

Cooking

The yogurt with water, add yeast, salt, sugar. Stir and leave for 5 minutes.

Melt the butter, cool, mix with the egg and kefir mixture. Add the flour, mix well with a whisk, add the vegetable oil, mix well. Let the dough rest 15 minutes.

Fry the pancakes on a hot pan on both sides until it will turn brown.

For the filling, couscous mixed with cranberries and nuts, pour boiling water so that water was 0.5 cm above the mixture. Sprinkle butter. Cover with a lid until completely absorbed water. You can use any dried fruit. If you like sweeter, add the sugar, I added.

On pancake spread the filling and wrap. Served with sour cream or any sweet sauce.
