Liver dumplings in broth
Recently bought the magazine "Lisa. Bon appetit" just for the sake of the recipe for liver dumplings, well, I really wanted to try them. The result pleased, but I still made the change, now it's one of my favorite dish from the liver. You can also try this.

Ingredients

  • Beef liver

    300 g

  • Bread

    150 g

  • Butter

    100 g

  • Onion

    1 piece

  • Garlic

    1 tooth

  • Parsley

    2 Tbsp

  • Marjoram

    0.5 tsp

  • Lemon peel

    0.5 tsp

  • Nutmeg

  • Carnation

  • Chicken egg

    1 piece

  • Flour

    50 g

  • Broth

    1 l

Liver clear from the films and veins, cut it into pieces.

Bread cut into cubes and add to the bowl with the liver. The original recipe was suggested to take 300 grams!, but I did not like such an abundance of bread, because the taste of the liver was not felt, the second time I cooked with 1/2 normal (150 g) and I like this option more to their liking. Who loves more bread taste, put 300 g.

Then add onion and garlic and puree them in a blender.

There also put the softened butter and again grind blender to a puree.

To the resulting mixture add the egg.

After the spices, chopped parsley, lemon zest (I had dried) and flour. Carefully vymeshivayut.

Bring to boil 2 liters of salted water and dip a wet hand molded beads (diameter 4-5 cm). Simmer 20 minutes on low heat. That's what they get.

Serve hot beef broth, sprinkled with parsley. And you can just pour the sour cream.
