Duck in mulled wine-marinade
Mulled wine can not only drink, but use as a marinade for a duck! Duck is a very aromatic, delicious! And garnish suggest baked potatoes. Help yourself!

Ingredients

  • Duck

    700 g

  • Salt

  • Black pepper

  • Rosemary

    1 tsp

  • Dry red wine

    500 ml

  • Cinnamon

    1 piece

  • Carnation

    3 piece

  • Star anise

    2 piece

  • Brown sugar

    1 Tbsp

  • The mixture of peppers

    0.5 tsp

  • Orange zest

    0.5 piece

Cooking

To prepare the mulled wine: in a saucepan pour the wine, put orange peel, spices ( star anise, cloves, a mixture of peppers, cinnamon).

Add sugar, heat but do not boil, remove from heat, cover, cool.

With duck legs cut off excess fat, wash, dry with paper towels. Put in refractory form. RUB with salt, black pepper, a sprinkle of dry rosemary.

Pour the cooled mulled wine. Cover the form with foil. Bake at 160 degrees for 3 hours. Periodically baste with marinade and turn the pieces.

Serve with baked potatoes.
