Cooking
Dry chickpeas soaked overnight in cold water in proportion 1:4. In the morning, boil the chickpeas for 2 hours. At the end of cooking add salt to taste.
Minced pig beef I scrolled through a meat grinder in advance. In a pan heat olive oil and sauté the ground beef until it becomes crumbly.
Onion, garlic and chilli finely chop bell pepper cut strips.
Minced season it with cumin and pepper, salt. Add vegetables, and fry all together for a few minutes.
Add tomato paste, stir and simmer under the lid for a few minutes.
Pour the water, bring the dish to a boil and cook under lid on low heat for 5-10 minutes.
By this time the chickpeas are already boiled. Drain water and place chickpeas in a frying pan to the mince and vegetables. Continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes under the lid. To taste seasoning the dish with salt and pepper, if necessary. Remove the pan from the fire.
The dish is served hot, sprinkled it on top of feta and herbs.
