Agree, sounds intriguing?! I never would have thought that chickpeas can be cooked these things. Convenient to take with you, a great option when there is no time to fully eat, and to avoid falling into something nasty (especially for those who lose weight). Hearty and delicious! Cooking
Chickpeas soak overnight. Cook in plenty of water until tender (I cooked it for 40 minutes)
For a sweet version: I took the cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla and sugar. For salt - baharat and salt (salt, unfortunately, not photographed)
Sprinkle this mixture into the chickpeas.
Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer and dry in a preheated 190 degree oven for 40 minutes (stirring occasionally). Cool.
In the result of the peas should be empty inside and crisp. They are stored in the Bank (only put already cold) for a long time, months almost. The photo - salt option.
And this is a sweet option.
